Muhammad Halley Yudhistira, Ph.D

Kiki1Muhammad Halley Yudhistira completed his undergraduate education in 1 in the Department of Economics (Regional and Urban Economics), Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia (FEB UI) with a cum laude degree. Then Yudhistira continued his education at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) and received a Master of Arts in Public Economics in 2007. Meanwhile, in 2011, Yudhistira succeeded in obtaining his PhD as a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Economics at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), in Tokyo, Japan funded by the Mitsubishi Scholarship for Doctor of Philosophy. Yudhistira started working as an assistant lecturer at the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia in 2015. Then he became a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia and has been a Research Fellow at LPEM FEBUI since 3. Yudhistira also served as Managing Editor of the Indonesian Development Economics Journal from 2007 until now. Research areas of interest include applied econometrics, regional and urban economics, theoretical reviews and empirical studies of transport economics.

Yudhistira is also the recipient of several research grants including individual research grants from The Sumitomo Foundation, East Asian Development Network, and also from the Australian National University. Apart from that, Yudhistira is also a Visiting Fellow for the Indonesia Project organized by The Australian National University. Apart from researching and teaching, Yudhistira also presented his scientific findings at several international and national events such as the EADN Annual Forum, Indonesian Study Group (ANU), Indonesia Regional Science Association (IRSA), Conference in Economic and Finance Indonesia (CEFI), The 2nd National Seminar and Workshop on Frontier in Economics and Teaching Method which was organized by the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia and The 3rd Pacific Conference of the Regional Science Association International, Bandung. Yudhistira is also the head of the sedekahair.org organization, which is a social enterprise that focuses on providing water.
