Farma Mangunsong adalah Peneliti yang juga Dosen Tetap di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Indonesia. Farma menempuh pendidikan S1 di Program Studi Ekonomi dan Pembangunan Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Indonesia kemudian melanjutkan S2 di Program Studi Ilmu Ekonomi Universitas Indonesia. Saat ini Farma sedang melanjutkan pendidikan di Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University, Thailand.. Minat dan Fokus Farma adalah pada Ekonomi Lingkungan dan Kebijakan Publik.
