The issue of extreme poverty has become one of the focus of government policies in improving the quality of economic development. Some of the government’s efforts in poverty alleviation are also in line with increasing gender equality. The May 2023 Labor Brief discusses these efforts and how they are currently being achieved. In addition, this month’s brief also discussed gender equality in poverty alleviation efforts.
