Mohammad Ikhsan is a Professor of the department of economics, in University of Indonesia and senior researcher in Institute of Economics and Social Research (LPEM FE UI) since 1987.he is currently working as expert staff for vice president Indonesia and has actively consulted the Government of Indonesia, serving in many major government committees. He earned a master of art in economics from Vanderbilt University in 1991 and completed his Ph.D in economics from University of Illinois in 1998. His research interests include monetary economics, development economics, macroeconomics, international trade and finance.
